Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

About these terms

By using the Apparel Market Transport (“AMT”) website, booking form, or any AMT logistics service, you agree to the terms below. These terms apply to all customers, exhibitors, and show organizers who interact with AMT.

Booking is a request, not a contract

Submitting a booking form creates a shipment request — it does not constitute a confirmed booking or binding contract. AMT reviews every request and will contact you within 1 business hour to confirm pricing, pickup timing, and any operational details. Your shipment is confirmed only when AMT sends a written confirmation.

Pricing and estimates

Online price estimates are for guidance only and are not guaranteed rates. Final pricing is confirmed by AMT after reviewing your shipment details, route, service level, and any special handling requirements. Factors including actual weight, dimensions, fuel surcharges, and show-specific requirements may affect final pricing.

AMT will not proceed with your shipment at a materially different price without your approval.

Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate item counts, weights, and descriptions at booking. Inaccurate information may result in revised pricing or delayed pickup.
  • Ensure freight is packed, labeled, and accessible at the scheduled pickup time and location.
  • Notify AMT of any access restrictions, elevator requirements, or unusual pickup conditions.
  • Provide correct delivery address and show/booth information. AMT is not responsible for misdirected freight due to customer-provided errors.

Cargo liability

Freight is handled in accordance with standard freight carrier terms and conditions. AMT’s liability for loss or damage to cargo is limited to the lesser of the declared value of the shipment or the freight charges paid. AMT is not liable for consequential, indirect, or incidental damages arising from any shipment, delay, or service failure.

For high-value shipments, we recommend declaring full value and arranging appropriate cargo insurance prior to pickup.

Cancellations and modifications

Shipment requests may be cancelled or modified at no charge before AMT confirms pickup scheduling. Cancellations after pickup has been confirmed and scheduled may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover driver and operational costs. Contact AMT as early as possible if your plans change.

Communication consent

By providing your email address and phone number, you consent to receive shipment-related communications from AMT, including booking confirmations, pickup reminders, tracking updates, delivery notifications, and invoice emails. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting us directly.

Operational review and show rules

AMT operates within the rules and regulations of each trade show, venue, and advance warehouse. Some deliveries may require coordination with show general contractors or venue logistics teams. AMT will advise you of any show-specific requirements that affect your shipment timeline or delivery method.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
